With grateful hearts for a life well lived, we share that Mary Katherine Binggeli passed away peacefully on the morning of July 16th, 2026.
Kay was born to James and Mary (Richards) Binggeli on September 4 1948 in St. Louis, the city where she spent her entire life. Known all of her life as “Kay,” she always appreciated all that life afforded her, great and small. She enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and spending time with her dear friends, many of whom she had known for numerous years.
Kay worked for several decades at Indeecoand most recently at Schnucks Markets, located in Kirkwood, loving her interactions with coworkers and customers, many of whom became dear friends.
Kay is survived by her brothers Arnold Binggeli (Susan), Keith Binggeli (Debra); Aunt of Jamie McNiff (James), Nicole Pahl (Ryan), Kelsey Engelman (Michael); Great-Aunt of Finn McNiff, Ryker Pahl, soon to be Baby Pahl, and Baby Engelman. As well as many dear family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents James Edward Binggeli and Mary Effie Binggeli (Richards).
SERVICES: A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 at Kutis Funeral Home, Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO 63123 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

So sorry for your families loss. Our thoughts will be with you in the days to follow. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend the memorial visitation. My wife is having surgery that day.

Good memories of fishing trips, bowling tournaments (once even winning the National Women’s Bowling Tournament), monthly poker nights with the gals, and remodeling her van for camping trips. She was so supportive of Joey over the years.
Kay was always a good friend and we enjoyed Cardinal Home Openers together for a lot of years. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace my friend.
I was so sorry to hear of Kay’s passing. Kay was always there to crack a joke, to lend a helping hand, to be a friend. Our loss is heaven’s gain.
Kay was a good friend to me and to many. She helped us move into our home by directing the movers. We shared so many fun events together over the years. She was a wonderful person and is missed. I’m sure she’s having a good time in Heaven.
