Blankenship, Mearl L.

Mearl L. Blankenship, 75, of Arnold died June 22, 2016, in Arnold. Mrs. Blankenship was a homemaker and a member of Compton Heights Baptist Church. Born July 14, 1940, in New Madrid, she was the daughter of the late Alpheus Fair and Lydia Graham. She was preceded in death by her husband: Larry M. Blankenship. She is survived by two sons: Larry “Ty” (Pamela) Blankenship of Arnold and Royce (Lacinda) Blankenship of south St. Louis County; seven grandchildren: Christopher Wall and Morgan, Tylar, Kennedy, Carsen, Avery and Gideon Blankenship; two brothers: Charles (Faye) Fair of Mississippi and twin brother Vearl (Sandy) Fair of Festus. She was preceded in death by a son: Todd Blankenship.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-9 p.m. Monday, June 27, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry, in St. Louis County. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, at the funeral home. Burial is in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
