82, passed away on June 15, 2023, in St. Louis, MO. She was born on August 21, 1940, in Venice, IL, to William and Mildred Burke. She was the second oldest of ten children.
Jeanette is survived by her three children, Vickie Jones of Bonne Terre, Bryan Fisher of St. Louis, and Eddie Fisher (DeeDee) of St. Louis, as well as nine grandchildren: Julie Colin (Ron) of Arlington, TN; Sandy McAntire (Glen) of Bonne Terre, MO; Kelly French (Nick) of Farmington , MO; Denise Johnson (Bobby) of Farmington, MO; Jennifer Fisher; Bryan Fisher, Jr., and Christopher Fisher, all of St. Louis; and Eddie Fisher, Jr. and Steven Fisher of St. Louis; 17 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Jeanette is also survived by her sisters, Diana Sanders (Larry) of Arnold, MO, and Nola Phillips (Rhodney) of Traskwood, AR, and her brothers Joe Burke (Debbie) of Magnolia, TX, and Rick Burke (Betty) of St. Louis.
Jeanette, affectionately known as “Gram,” or “Grandma Nette,” was a lady of great charisma, known for her fun-loving personality and straight-shooting ways. She had a deep love for finding bargains on clearance racks and yard sales, and she had a knack for finding the best deal around!
She also enjoyed teaching at the school for the intellectually disabled; Disney; cruises; and especially going to the casino to try her luck on the slots.
Her love for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and babies in general was immense. She enjoyed making her famous banana pudding and chocolate gravy when the grandkids would visit, and she never missed an opportunity to take the grandkids on special trips or to concerts to celebrate their accomplishments.
She had a fondness for loud colors, tacky clothes, and costume jewelry, and was a loyal fan of the Cardinals and Elvis.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Bolin, and siblings Sally Alfaro, Frank Burke, Robert Hood, Billy Burke, and Bob Burke.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24th, for family at 11:30 AM, followed by public visitation from 12-2 PM, with the memorial service immediately following at 2:00 PM. Services will be held at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123.
