  1. I have very fond memories of Uncle Bernie, when we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa out there in Saint Louis. My sincere condolences to you all. We had a lot of fun as kids! 😊❤️

  2. There is an image I have of my brother assisting at mass at St. Peter’s Church.
He took those assignments seriously and respected our pastor Father Westhoff as well as Father Hesseldens.
Rest high upon the mountain, Bern…

  4. I was the “baby” of the family with Bernard being the oldest of my 4 siblings. He was 17 when I was born. My sweetest memory of Bernard, which continued till even recent calls 70 years later, was when he or I would call, the first thing he would say was “Hey Kiddo!” How are you?! That hey kiddo in his booming voice is a fond memory I will always treasure. I am grateful I can honor my brother and be in St. Louis with his family as we prepare him for his final resting place. With love, Brenda 🩵
