Boresi, Charles “Charlie”

Passed away on Thursday, April 21st, 2022 at the age of 77.  Beloved husband of Karen Boresi (nee Burian); Father of Brian (Julie) Boresi and Stephanie (John) Andersen.  Devoted Grandpa to Jamie, Meredith, Jacob and Reagan.  Charlie graduated from Cleveland High School (June 1963), retired from Chrysler Automotive after 33 years and was a member of UAW Local 136, Sokol St. Louis – ACEC, the Lemay Aces and American Legion post 208.  Charlie was an accomplished woodworker, jack-of-all trades, mentor and to know him was to be considered a friend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Czech Educational Center c/o Sokol Camp Committee, 4690 Lansdowne Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116

SERVICES:  Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Road on Saturday, April 30, 10:00 a.m.  Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery.  Visitation Friday 4 – 9 p.m.

  3. Charlie was our treasured friend and travel buddy. We have such great memories of our trips to Hawaii and Alaska with Karen and Charlie. We will never forget his friendship and his generosity. R.I.P. Charlie

  9. Dear Karen, Brian, Stephanie and family, I am sorry for your loss. “Sonny”, his sister Arlene, and his mother Aunt Edith were all part of the blended family of my childhood. I consider Charlie my cousin. I’ll be thinking of all of you as you move through your grief.
