  1. Joan, Nancy, Shirley and Don,
It is hard to express the sadness I feel at the loss of your Beloved Mother, my beloved Aunt and Godmother. Even though I didn’t see her very often, living 2000 miles away, it was comforting knowing she was “always there” after I lost my Mom. Now I know they are
all together again and that puts a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing the gift of your
Mom! She was a woman of great strength and great faith and I am so glad she was a part
    of my life.
Hugs to all of you as you mourn the loss of your Mom. Know she is smiling down on you
all now as she has entered her eternal life she so dearly earned!
    Love,
    Mary Jon

The few times I met your beloved mom I could tell she was a kind and sweet soul.
I know she is praising God with her sweetness.
May the angels bring her safely home.

  5. My sympathy to all of you. Aunt Melba was a special person, and was loved by many. Her family was so special to her and as she cared for all of you when you were young, she was cared for and loved by all of you in her last years.

Losing a parent (no matter what their age or yours) is very difficult. My prayers are with all of you.

  7. Dear Shirley,
Your mom became dear to the choir as you shared her story with us over these several years. Your sister and you have been an inspiration of selfless love as you carefully took care of her. She was truly blessed with long years and happiness of life. We are praying for you and your family as you send your dear mother into the loving arms of Jesus.

    You have my deepest sympathy.
Aunt Melba was a beautiful person inside and out. I have such fond memories of all of the times our families got together throughout our younger years and I am so happy that I got to see her and all of you over the past several years to celebrate her long life.
I am sorry I can’t be there with you for the services but all of you and your families will be in my thoughts and prayers.
    Love,
