  1. Gerry was a wonderful, caring, loving & funny man. I’m so happy I met him a few years ago on a trip to visit my cousin Elaune Colbert. I loved hearing his stories of how all our families inter twined. May Gerry rest in peace. ❤

  3. I can’t believe a year has passed. Time is whizzing by and there is no way to slow it down.
I loved his parents, Aunt Maude and Uncle Ed, very much and enjoyed spending time with them. I guess that is why Gerry was one of my favorite cousins. He taught me so much in the time we spent together as adults. He and Pearl were wonderful friends and advice consultants. I was so sorry that I missed the funeral but that covid time was very stressful.
He is missed, but by speaking about him and telling his stories we will keep him alive in our hearts forever.
    RIP Cuz!
