Botkin, Willard D. Sr.

Willard D. Botkin Sr. (known to all as Dale), 79, of Arnold, MO, passed away on August 25, 2024. 

Dale is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Phyllis; 3 children: DJ (Stephanie), Tim, and Tammy Botkin; 6 grandchildren: Matthew, Kellie, Issac, Piper, Dwayne, and Emmett; brother Dennis; sister Carol; and other extended family.

Dale was preceded in death by a brother, Donald, and his parents, Willard and Ruth Botkin. 

Dale was an avid hunter. He loved spending time at his cabin hunting for deer and turkey. He enjoyed fish fries, hearty meals, his bib overalls, and tinkering in his garage.  

Services; A celebration of life will be held at Kutis Funeral Home (Butler Hill) on Saturday, September 21 from 12pm until 2pm. Immediately following the Celebration, friends and family are invited to attend a luncheon at his son Tim’s home. Dale’s ashes will be scattered on his beloved hunting ground at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an organization of your choice.

  1. Dale will be missed by everyone. I have a lot of great memories at there home. I always felt loved and welcomed by them always. You never went there without them always offering you something to eat or drink. My memories go all the way back to there first home in the trailer, where he bought Dennis ( his brother) his first gun. I felt blessed to have been a part of the family. My condolences to the family
