I just learned that Dick had passed. I am so sorry. I thoroughly enjoyed my years of working with him and will always remember his humor as well as his skills as a professional. My condolences.

Ellen and I just learned of Dick’s passing. He was a great surgeon and a wonderful neighbor. We are deeply saddened. We extend our most sincere condolences to Carolyn and the family.

Dick Bower was a great man and surgeon. He and I spent a summer in Richmond doing time with the connective tissue division at MCV. He stayed with relatives and I did as well. I always enjoyed our time together. He had a great sense of humor and provided light and joy to any gathering! He will be missed! May God bless you and hold you close as you grieve his loss.
