Joan D. Boxx  Friday, April 19, 2024.  Loving wife of James P. Boxx, Jr., for 55 years; beloved mom of James P. (Christina) Boxx, III, Elizabeth Boxx and Cynthia Harmon; dearest grandma  of Lacie (Kevin) Boydston, Aniston, Brayden and Madelynn Boxx; great grandma of Atlas and Jasper; dearest sister of Patty Sheaffer and the late William Sims, Gerline (survived by William) Hammers and Jerry Sims; dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Joan earned a Masters Degree in Education from Southwest Baptist.  She taught science and math at Fox School District.  She was very active at First Baptist Church of Oakville and the University of Missouri Extension Council.

Services:  Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Friday, April 26, 5-8pm.  Then to First Baptist Church of Oakville 6741 Telegraph Road (63129) Saturday  visitation 10am until service at 11am.  Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
