Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois, Wednesday April 29th, 9:00-11:00 AM, then to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for services at 11:30 AM. Memorials to Disabled American Veterans appreciated.
Dear Cousin Charlene, my condolences for your loss, Rick will be very missed but everyone that knew him. I will miss seeing him at the family picnic. I am sorry that I can’t be there for the funeral, but even if I am not there in person, I will be there in spirit.
I was privileged to know Rick as a best friend for over 30 years. We met playing softball, he died while we played pickle ball. Never a quitter, he always gave 110% leading to a most unfortunate fall. Rick was loved by all his teammates, always there to help the fallen or injured as his capacity as a nurse. Someone known for laughing with you, never at you. My heart is broken, for me but especially for his wife and daughter who he loved above all else. .
We are so very saddened by the passing of our beloved neighbor Rick. We are praying for Charlene and Erin as they began this journey of grief without their beloved husband and father. We always appreciated Rick‘s kindness and helpfulness in our neighborhood. He will be dearly missed.
