Our memories: Because Karen was an avid reader and an educator, she was ever learning, especially about the Bible. She was so proud of her son and grandchildren and was in fervent prayer for them. She loved Sid’s sense of humor and carried on with his support in spite of health setbacks. She lovingly visited and cared for her mother and family was very important to her. We rejoice that heaven is her glorious home. We pray for peace and comfort for all her family and friends.

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one and my friend, Karen. She will be greatly missed by many. I share my sympathy to Sid and Doug and her granddaughters. You are all in my prayers, always. As God’s Word says in Hebrews 13:5, “Gor I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you do not fear for I help you.” He is holding you in the palm of his hands, forever. I share many memories of Karen as we enjoyed scrapbooking, reading scripture together and just enjoying each other’s company.

She loved the Lord with her whole heart, and was an incredible role model to her granddaughters. Her legacy will continue through them, and she will forever be missed.
I was sad to hear of Karen’s passing. Karen and I knew each other in high school and at Southwest Baptist College. She was a smart and talented girl. I looked forward to her scripture posts on Facebook. It showed the depth of her love for her Savior. I have been praying for your family that God will hold all in his mighty arms.
