My sincere condolences to Kristin and Dan and their children. I have so many warm memories with Jeanie, and she will always have a special place in my heart.
I am so sorry for your loss. May she rest in eternal peace, and may God surround your family with comfort and love during this time. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers
In the Stuart extended family, Jeanie was always a favorite cousin. Fun, beautiful, brilliant and loving. Her West Coast family often wish we lived closer but the memories I do have with her are precious. Love and prayers to her kids and grandkids who I know will miss her terribly.

Although we Wilkasons grew up in California and had very little opportunity to spend time with our midwest cousins and family, we loved Jeanie who visited us a few times and even brought Kris with her a couple times. Oh my mama, Bernita (Charles Stewart’s sister) thought her neice Jeanie was the cat’s pyjamas, and we girls always teased mama that she loved Jeanie more than us. I remember Jeanie’s humor and good nature. She was openly so proud of her children and grandchildren and I expect that all who knew her loved her. When my mama went to the hospital to have me (in 1952) mom and dad were living in Illinois near Uncle Charles’ family and Jeanie begged her to come home with twins. “Oh please, Aunt Bernita. One for me and one for Judy.” I can picture her reunion in heaven right now with mama and all the Stewarts who were, I’m sure, saving her a seat and welcoming her home with open arms.
I will always remember the great times I had with Jean while we worked at the same publishing company in MIlwaukee in the 1990s. She was one of a kind! I feel sure that Jesus is already enjoying her witty company in heaven.
Jean was a wonderful and consistent volunteer with CPAAA for many years. She was always so kind and easy to work with and always eager to help. We will miss her.
Jean was such a kind and loving person. She will be missed!
