Breed 1-crop

In Loving Memory

Breed, David Daniel

David D. Breed, age 60, of St. Louis, MO passed away peacefully at home on Monday,
March 18, 2024.  David was born on June 1, 1963, to Lorraine (Droppelman) Breed and David K. Breed in St. Louis, Mo.

David joyfully married the love of his life, Patricia (Trisch) Cox, his wife of nearly 40 years, on June 10, 1984.

David worked at St. Mary’s Health Center in Richmond Heights, MO for almost 40
years. There he was known for his hard work, problem-solving, teamwork, dedication,
and early morning stair-well singing of well-loved hymns.

David enjoyed reading, singing, spending time with family, playing games, tinkering and fixing things, taking road trips, fishing, floating, playing in the river, pursuing many outdoor adventures, and telling “awful dad jokes” and was a fervent Patriot.
But most of all David loved being a husband, a father, a brother, a grandfather (aka “Grampy”), and a faithful, compassionate, generous, friend.

David is survived by his wife, Patricia (Cox) Breed; his children: Carole Robards (Strupper), Charles Strupper, David J. Breed, Daniel P. Breed, and Jonathan E. Breed; as well as by his sister, Gwen E. Breed, his cousins, and, of course, the absolute twinkle
of his eyes, all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Although taken from us very suddenly and far too soon, we find peace in the knowledge that our precious David is now, together with many of his loved ones who have gone before, rejoicing in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Although physically absent from us for a time, David will continue to live in the many hearts of those whose lives were profoundly touched by him until that precious day when, as believers in Jesus Christ, we will all be reunited in all of heaven’s glory, joyfully singing those well-loved hymns together with him around the throne of God.

Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, March 30th from 1 to 3 pm at Affton Christian Church, 9623 Tesson Ferry Rd, Affton, MO. 63123
