Beloved wife of the late James F. Briggs; loving mother of Deborah (Tom Braun) Briggs, Sharon (Don) Schroeder, Susan (Steven) Merz and Nancy Fortune; adoring grandmother of Sarah (Brian) Whalen, Alyssa (Jeremy) Vitoux, Carly Merz and Madeline Fortune; cherished great-grandmother of Sawyer Smith; dear sister of the late Richard (surviving Linda) Nelson. Our dearest sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Tuesday, January 3 at 9:00 am. to St. Simon Catholic Church for 9:30 am. Mass. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to Humane Society of Missouri appreciated. Visitation Monday 4-8 pm.

  9. I have so many fond memories of hanging out at the Briggs house on Monte Carlo Drive. Marilyn was always there keeping everyone in line. She made me feel so welcome. It was like my second home. Sending you all lots of love and hugs as you mourn your loss and celebrate her life and legacy. ❤️
