Catherine was born on November 11, 1922, in Dexter, Minnesota to the late Dora Catherine Fuerstenberg and George Edward Crane. The youngest of five children, Catherine was raised on her grandparents’ farm in Dexter Minnesota. Throughout her adult years, she was a real-estate broker, a school bus driver for special school district, and advocational archaeologist who inspired one of her grandchildren to become a professional archaeologist. She was also a pilot, loved playing bridge, and diehard casino slot machine player.
Her surviving family members include: two children, daughter, Jimmie K Green; and son, Richard Craddock; seven grandchildren, Christopher Crabtree, Darren Crabtree, Debra Green, Denise Frazier, Marcy Green, Kelli Green, and Connie Foster Robinson; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband James R Craddock and oldest daughter, Sheron A Foster.
Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, October 10 in Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Affton.
