Dan was a wonderful man, boss, dear friend and hunting partner. I looked up to him like a father figure and will miss him dearly. Many memories in the goose field and the duck marsh along with the turkey woods. “shoot ’em the lips” in heaven Dan.
I would like to send my deepest and sincere condolences to the Bromeier family in the lost of their loved one. Dan was my boss when I first joined the St. Louis County Parks Department. May our Lord in Savior send his angles of comfort and peace to his family during this time and the days to come.
What a man – so many memories. RIP my friend!!

He will be missed. Dan would come to Faust Park and his crew from Love Park and help me with anything that was ask of Dan. Always with a Big Smile on his face. He helped us move building reconstruct Barns and Cabins. Because of Dan Faust Park is a much better place. He holds a special place in My Heart! So Sorry for your loss!
My condolences to Dan’s family. So sorry for your loss. We both started work at ST Louis County Parks in the early 1970’s. I always remember Dan as an avid outdoorsman and he always had a good hunting story to tell. His smile and laugh were contagious. I’m grateful to have known him.

Dan was one of the great ones. I agree with Jesse that Dan did so much to help Faust Park. I also remember working closely with Dan building the tunnel for Haunted Forest-fun times. My thoughts are with his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. As a ranger, I didn’t work directly with him but our paths crossed often. He was a sweetheart, one of the best. I will miss him. I wish all the best to his family.
So sorry and shocked to read about Dan this morning. He was a good family man and co-worker with St. Louis County Parks and Recreation. He will be missed.
We’re so sorry to hear of your loss. I (John) will always remember stopping by Dan’s office and teasing him about the duck decoys in the back of his personal truck. He was always willing to help me out with Ranger business and fostered cooperation between Ops, Recreation, and the Rangers. Glenna remembers his positive attitude and fun loving spirit. It was great working with Dan.
