George R. Brooks entered into rest on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Beloved Husband and best friend of Kathleen E. Brooks (nee Hobbs) for almost 64 years. Loving father of Rose Regelsperger,Tina Herrell, Ray (MaryAnn) Brooks, Kim (Mike) Coleman and Daniel (Fiance’ Barbara Kennedy) Brooks; cherished grandfather of Timothy, Derek, Brandy, Nathan, Elizabeth (Jason), Victoria, Samantha, Jennifer, Rachael, Tiffany, Gabe (Tiffany), Jon, Clayton, Michael, Eli and the late Michael Brooks and great-grandfather of 11; treasured son of the late George and Mae Brooks; dear brother of the late Grace, Jim, Bill, Dave and Wayne; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Thursday, December 11, 4-8 p.m. Funeral Friday, December 12, 9:30 a.m. Burial J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to a Charity of your choice appreciated.
I’m so sorry for your loss Ray and MaryAnn. I love you guys and he will truly be missed. He was such a kind sweet man and he loved when I boxed up his breakfast for him. I’ll miss his little grin of a smile too !!!
My deepest condolences Kathleen, I wish I had got a chance to know uncle Ray sooner. Obviously from this distance I won’t be able to make the service or the funeral, but when I make it back down to MO I will contact you, hoping we can visit and will go to visit uncle Ray at the cemetery.
