  1. Our sympathy and prayers to all of Ellis’ family. We met Ellis a few times personally through Mike & Faye, good friends of ours. Very sad to hear of his passing. We pray the good Lord provides comfort for the family now and in the days ahead. May Ellis Rest in Peace and reunite with family members that have gone before him.

  5. My thoughts are with the entire family and hope you can find comfort in each other.

Growing up with Nora we spent a lot of fun times in the Brown’s home. There was always
something going on especially if Ellis was back from one of his adventures. If we would
stop and listen there was always a story/lecture that he wanted to tell.

I can picture him now surrounded by animals ready to feed and take care of them forever.

  7. To my sister Penny and my dear nieces Therese and Amy and my dear nephew Ellis, their spouses and my dear sweet great nieces and nephews, my sincerest condolences. I am sorry that I cannot be there with you and for you but you will be in my heart and on my mind as you lay your husband, father, father in law and grandfather to rest. I know Ellis loved you all very much. I also know that he believed in Jesus Christ as his savior. Please find comfort knowing that he has joined his Heavenly Father, is at peace and not suffering and that you will see him again one day. I love you all! May God bless you and bring you peace and comfort.

  11. I met Ellis through his younger sister, Nora. His love of all of God’s creatures was such a core to his everyday life. When we walked at the zoo and he was working, he was congenial and delighted in sharing his “inside”information. He knew the behaviors of many of the zoo residents and related fun stories.
My sympathy and prayers for his family.
