Patricia “Pat” Brownlee (nee O’Rourke), 69, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 1, 2022, at her home in Ballwin, Missouri. An attorney specializing in family law, personal injury, workers’ compensation and legal negligence, Pat graduated in 1971 from Lindbergh Senior High School in St. Louis. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Drury College in 1974, her Master’s degree in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1976, and her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1981.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Ruth Anne “Jo” O’Rourke (Sutton), Robert O’Rourke, her sister, Gloria Rosenberger, and a niece, Christy Rosenberger. She is survived by a sister, Anne Nelson (Charles), two nephews, one niece, and nine grandnieces and grandnephews.
Pat loved the St Louis Cardinals, especially Yadier Molina. She would go to a home game at the drop of a hat. She also loved to travel. Her goal was to visit every state in the Union, and every MLB ballpark. She enjoyed quilting and loved anything having to do with penguins. She was an avid reader.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, Jul 23, 2022, at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 10126 East Watson Road, Crestwood MO 63126, where Pat was an active member.
