Bryan

In Loving Memory

Bryan, Stephen Michael

June 6, 1948 - August 19, 2025

Stephen Michael Bryan, lovingly known as “Mike”, passed away on August 19, 2025 at the age of 77 while surrounded by family and friends.

Born June 6, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri. Mike lived a life defined by hard work, love and a deep devotion to family and friends. He was the husband of his high school sweetheart, Sharon Bryan(Kelly), with whom he spent 57 years of memories, laughter and family.

Mike was the proud father of Kelly (Jay) Kreikemeier, the late Jaime (Rich) Panosh, Stephen (Anne) Bryan and Maggie (Jesse) Bahr. Later in life his greatest joy came from being “Grandpa” to his 10 grandchildren: Alex, Max, Hayden, and Cutter Kreikemeier; Joe and Morgan Nobles; Luke and Abe Bryan; and Parker and Barrett Bahr.

Mike was the son of the late Eugene and Jeanette Bryan, and the cherished brother of Dennis Bryan, Patrick Bryan, and Jeannie Capriglione(Bryan).

A dedicated, hard working sheet metal worker, Mike was a proud member of Local 36 for over 50 years, where he was responsible for some of the largest projects in the St. Louis region.
He carried himself with integrity and craftsmanship that defined him, earning the respect of his peers and leaving a lasting mark on the industry.

Beyond work, Mike loved to fish, play golf, and above all, spend time with family. He also poured his heart and time into coaching, leading his children’s youth sports teams to numerous league, county, and city championships in soccer, baseball, softball and basketball. On and off the field he was a leader- teaching lessons of teamwork, discipline, and hard work that extended far beyond sports.

Mike was a real man’s man, loyal and true and a great friend to all that were lucky to know him.
He leaves behind a legacy of family, love, laughter, hardwork, and countless memories that will live on in the hearts of family and many friends.

A visitation celebrating Mike’s life will be held on Sunday, August 31st from 3:00-5:00pm with a Memorial service to follow from 5:00-6:00pm at Kutis- South County location. All who knew him are warmly invited to attend and share stories in his honor.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking you to instead make a donation in Mike’s name to the Mercy Hospice South – de Greef Hospice House
