Beloved husband of the late Angela Buescher (nee Vasel) of 64 years; loving father of Michael (Alicia) Buescher, David (Kimberly) Buescher, Carol (Frank) Efthim, Patricia (Stephen) Behnen; dearest grandfather of Eric (Lauren) Buescher, Jill (William) Berg, Paige (William) Martin, Jenifer (Benjamin) Rola, Kristy Buescher, Katherine Schoen, Alison (Tim) Brophy, Andrew Schoen, Christopher (Sabrina) Efthim, Stephanie Efthim, Daniel (Ashley) Dickhans, and Thomas Dickhans; dear great-grandfather of Hudson Buescher, Hunter Buescher, Addison Berg, Mackenzie Berg, Beckett Berg, Avery Martin, Tallulah Rola, Halina Pargo, Brookelyn Michler, Tommy Schoen, Mae Efthim, Walt Efthim, Oliver Dickhans, Claire Dickhans; brother of the late Lester (Dorothy) Buescher; brother-in-law of Geraldine (David) Reisner; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Donald was a 1953 Graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. He served in the Army as a First Lieutenant at Ft Sill, Ok and Ft Benning, GA. He went on to work at Union Electric, then Communico, a division of Meritz, and finished his career at Hussmann Refrigeration in December of 1996 as a Sales Training Director. In July of 2015 Don and Ange moved to Friendship Village. They enjoyed their remaining years there and developed lifetime friendships throughout the community.

Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. on Tuesday, July 16  from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. then Wednesday, July 17 at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 9907 Sappington Rd. 63128 from 8:00 a.m. until Funeral Service 9:00 a.m. Interment Jefferson National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 9907 Sappington Rd.   2. We are so sorry for your loss! Don was a true gentleman and we always enjoyed talking with him. He was a true lover of family and we know how much all of you will miss him! He is finally reunited with the love of his life, Angela! God bless them both!
