It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hugh Bundy, aged 62, who left us on November 20, 2024. Born on September 11, 1962, Hugh lived a life filled with love, passion, and dedication to his family and dreams.

He also had an enduring love for airplanes, a passion that inspired those around him to appreciate the beauty of flight and the skies above. Kraft and Cindy (Wilfred) Poertner; brother-in-law of Phil (Pam) Melkowski, Rosalie Davenport, Dan Melkowski and the late Mike (survived by Chris) Melkowski; our dear nephew, uncle, cousin and friend of many.  His children were his greatest pride and legacy. His love, wisdom, and kindness will forever live in their hearts. His presence lit up every room, and his memory will continue to bring warmth to all who knew him.

Above all, Hugh loved Jesus. His unwavering faith was the foundation of his life, and he shared his love for Christ through his actions, words, and kindness towards others.

  1. I will always think of him as Elmore since he was called by his middle name when he was very young. He was the young Evel Knievel of Sweet Gum. Always doing daring stunts and trying new things. He will be missed by so many. May God provide his family with comfort and peace during this difficult time.
