Beloved wife of Richard “Dick” Burgdorf; mother of Wayne (Patti), Sue, David (Dana) and Bruce (Susan); grandmother of  Steven, Daniel (Melissa), Sydney, Savanna, Sabrina and  Matthew; great-grandmother of Ava; sister of Ruth (Paul) Pallmeyer, Betty (the late Paul) Pohland and Walter (Marge) Schrieber; sister-in-law of Norman (the late Marie) Burgdorf; our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Born on July 6, 1933 in Juniata, NE. She attended Concordia University, Seward, NE. Edith was active in the Lutheran  Walther League and taught kindergarten at Christ Community Lutheran School for 25 years.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois,  Friday, June 30, 5-8 p.m. then taken to Webster Gardens  Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 1 for visitation at 10 a.m.  until service at 11 a.m. Interment Monday, July 3, 8:30 am at Sunset Cemetery.  Memorials to Christ Community Lutheran School, Laclede Groves Benefactor Fund or Lutheran Family and Children’s Services
