John spent his career employed by Sunmark which later was bought by Nestle, as a Production and Supply Planner. After retirement he was able to spend more time focused on his faith and family. John was passionate about sharing the Gospel and the truths that he learned in his walk with Christ. He loved going on vacation, planning trips with family and friends as often as possible, experiencing life together and making memories. John had a very positive impact, with his “Happy Day!” as he started conversations. He will be greatly missed, but would want all to remember that Life is good, but eternity is better.
Celebration of life will be in Kansas City with immediate family.
in lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made “In honor of John Burkit” to Daystar Network Ministries.
