Burst, Mary Anne

 

Burst, Mary Anne  (nee Bartlett) of Rolla, entered into rest on Saturday, April 23, 2016.  She was born on January 3, 1934 in Houston, TX to the late Ernest  Watson Bartlett and Mattie W.  (Murphy) Bartlett.  On January 14, 1956 she married John Frederick “Jack” Burst in Huntsville, TX.  He preceded her in death on June 28, 2009. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Ernie Bartlett. She loved her family above all else and also cherished her lifelong friendships. She will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes: one son, John Burst of Santa Clara, CA; three daughters, Missy Little and husband Matt of Cypress, TX, Ann Burst of Houston, TX and Tricia Fears and husband Shawn of Godfrey, IL; two sisters, Patty Paine and Ginny Williams and husband Fernando, all of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Jack Little, Melissa Little, Julianne Fears, Jessica Fears and Justin Fears.

Services: A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-5 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Null and Son Funeral Home, 1010 Kingshighway, Rolla, MO, 65401. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO, 63129 with a funeral service to be conducted at 1 p.m.  Interment will follow immediately at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her friends, Dwight and Sharon Grose and Paula Stacey for their special care and attention. Online condolences may be offered at www.nullandsonfuneralhome.com.
