Campen, Margaret A. (nee Ashburn) age 75, Tue., Jan 3, 2017. Dear daughter of the late Willard and Wilma (nee Mabery) Ashburn; beloved wife of William “Bill” Campen for nearly 54 years; dearest mother of Natalie Campen (Vincent) Creel, Ellen Campen and Katie (Matt) Christ; loving grandmother of Jedediah Creel, Christina and Faith Christ; great grandmother of Beatrice Mae and Sophia Rose; dear sister of Ellen (Tom ) Head and the late Janet Murry; dear sister-in-law of Anna Medlin; our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend. Margaret enjoyed being a Girl Scout for over 30 years (scout and leader) and was proud of being a Sunday Bible school teacher, a youth leader and was devoted to her church. She was also proud of being a “second mom to many daughters” and was devoted to her family.

Services:  Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255  Lemay Ferry Rd. Sun., Jan. 8 from 1-3 p.m. Then taken to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 2761 Telegraph Rd. on Mon., Jan 9 for visitation at 11:30 a.m. until funeral at 12:30pm. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association
