In Loving Memory

Cannon, Peggy (nee: Donnelly)

Peggy Cannon’s life ended peacefully on February 18. She was born in Peoria, Illinois to Roy and Ellen Donnelly on April 5, 1926. She had two sisters, Mary Cation, and Dorothy Gleason, who proceeded her in death. She married Joseph Cannon when he returned from World War II in 1945. They moved to St. Louis in 1955, and were married for 64 years.

They were blessed with 5 children, Cathy Cancel (Miguel), Patti Hanson (Terry), Tim Cannon (Karen), Sheila McGinn (the late David), Molly Schwabe (John); 15 grandchildren, Patrick McClain, Colleen Ogden, Dan McClain, Amy Hanson, Joe Hanson, Liz Schelmbauer, Maureen Bahr, Bridget Allen, Katie Russo, Sam McGinn, Maggie McGinn, Annie Cox, John Schwabe, Brian Schwabe, and Peggy Schwabe; and also 20 great grandchildren.

She worked hard at home taking care of her 5 children and was involved in her church and the schools.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Thursday, February 23 from 5-8pm. Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel on Friday, February 24, 9:30 am to St. Mark Catholic Church for 10:00 AM mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

If desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart Association.
