Susan Jane Carenza-Richard (nee Myers), age 76, died peacefully in her sleep, in St. Louis, MO. Born to parents Robert Variel and Alice Jane (nee Mooney) Myers, Susan was the second-eldest of 10 siblings. Robert Harrison, Peter Jenss, Kenneth Barton, Nancy Elizabeth, Tomas Bolton, Richard Timothy, Beverly Ann Brown, James Walter Brown and Jennifer Lynn Brown Myers.
Susan graduated from Kirkwood High School and continued her education taking classes at Forest Park Comunity College, University of Missouri-Columbia and University of Missouri-St. Louis. She worked for several businesses, including Famous-Barr Clayton, Diversified Industries, SouthernTelecom and St. Louis television station, KTVI. She loved music, singing, playing guitar and most of all, her two boys.
Susan is survived by her sons, Joseph (Joey) Samuel Carenza III, Michael Henry Carenza, first husband, Joseph S. Carenza Jr. and brothers Tom and Tim Myers. She is preceded in death by second husband, Lee Richard, both parents and several siblings.
In honoring Susan’s wishes, her body was donated to Washington University Medical Center and no public memorial service will be held.
