Carrigan, Helen

On Sunday January 28th Helen Carrigan beloved wife to her late husband Alphonsus Carrigan, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her children.  She was 85 years old.  Helen was a devoted mother of 6 to Mary (Todd) Link, John (Carrie) Carrigan, Al Carrigan (Ken Pender)Greg (Tammy) Carrigan, Janice(Al) Mers, Joanne (Bill) Holloway.

She was born in New Glasgow Nova Scotia. Canada to her late parents William and Margaret Fleming.  Helen moved to America in 1963 with her late husband. She was a loving sister to Vivian (late husband Jack) Oliver and her late brother Rodger (late wife Winnie) Fleming.

She was a supportive grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  Helen was the light in every room she walked into and she will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.

Visitation at South County Kutis Funeral Home 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129 on Friday February 2nd from 4-8pm with Funeral services on Saturday February 3rd at 10am at South County Kutis funeral home.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Meramec (Arnold) Elks Lodge #2372 at 1515 Miller Road Imperial, MO 63052

  5. Helen was more my sister than my sister -in-law .I’m going to miss her alot.we always had her and my brother Al had alot to talk about. She always asked about Brenna how she was doing.we were always over at there house
