Carroll, James Leon

James Leon Carroll, of Imperial, Missouri, was born May 17, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ray and Virginia Carroll. He loved sports, especially Blues hockey, music, playing guitar, model trains, dad jokes, spending time with his grandkids, and a good pair of New Balance tennis shoes.

James was preceeded in death by his mother Virgina. He is survived by his wife Donna Carroll of Imperial, Missouri, his father Ray Carroll, of St. Louis, Missouri, his brother Ernie (Donna) Carroll of St. Louis, Missouri, his sister Anita (David) Woods of Fenton, Missouri, his sister Mary (Steve) Kauffeld of St. Louis, Missouri, and his sister Jan Craig of St. Louis, Missouri.

He was also survived by his daughters Julie Homan, Samantha Woods, and Christa Poyner and his sons in law Brandon Homan and Brad Roderick. Most importantly he is survived by his pride and joy, his grandchildren, Nathan, Justin, Nicholas, Tabitha, Lilliana, Sly, and Dakota.

Services: His visitation will be held at the Kutis Funeral Home at 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63129 on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. There will also be a visitation on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Kutis from 10:00am until 12:30pm. A service will take place in the Kutis chapel immediately following the Saturday visitation. Flowers can be sent to Kutis or if you would like to make a donation instead, please give to your local fire department.
