In Loving Memory

Cassler, Donna R.

Donna Ruth (Orr) Cassler passed away, with family by her side, on January 29, 2020, at the age of 72.

She is predeceased by her father, Donis, mother Violet (Fritsch), brother Donis (Don), sisters Karen Striler and Violet Morland and half sisters, Anita Tate and Maria Rohr.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Rosetta Cipponeri (Jon Wilkins) and Theresa (Ace) Fouts, son Alex Cassler, sisters Lana (Dave) Diggs and Gail (Jim) Sikes, 6 grandchildren, a great grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Donna was born on January 16, 1948 in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from Central High School in 1967. She most often supported her family as a homemaker but occasionally took up part time work in clerical and customer service.

She enjoyed spending time with family, watching crime dramas and Jeopardy, reading romance novels, playing cards and drinking coffee.

She was small but mighty. In life, she rose above many struggles, yet she was patient, strong, and determined. Her spirit was optimistic and courageous. Her laugh contagious. Her love for her family was boundless and she was always there when needed.

The visitation will be held at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois, Affton, MO 63123 on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 between 4-8 PM.
