Kathy Casso, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 27, 2026.
Born on January 18, 1953, Kathy was the oldest child to the late Donald and the late Ann Miller. Throughout her life she was known for her kindness and generosity, but the thing that stands out most is the genuine love she showed to those around her.
Kathy shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Frank Casso III. Together they built a life full of laughter, overflowing with love and support for each other. She was a devoted mother to Laurie (Jeff) Howard, Stacey (Michael) Starck, Kevin (Katie) Casso, and Alicia (Brock) Woods. Being a grandmother to her eight grandchildren, Camron Casso, Anthony, Samantha and Sophia Starck, Mason, Kylie and Addison Casso and Kinslee Woods brought her immense pride and immeasurable joy.
Kathy touched so many lives beyond those of her family. She was a sister, sister-in-law, niece, cousin, aunt, godmother and friend. Kathy had a special gift for making people feel welcomed, important and cared about. She gave selflessly, fought courageously and loved deeply. She touched every person she met in a unique way that no one else could. She was always there to lend a hand, listen, console and bring delicious baked goods or a homemade craft to make you feel special. Kathy will be deeply missed by so many.
Services: Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Ann Ave, Valley Park, MO, 63088, Monday, October 5, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery concluding with a Celebration of Life for all family and friends. Those unable to attend the morning services are warmly invited to the Celebration of Life, as Kathy would want you to attend.
