  1. To the Hacker and Casteel families,
I went to Notre Dame with Cathy. Although she was younger than me, she was a bright, sweet person with a heart of gold.
Please accept my prayers for strength. Her memory will live within our hearts.

  3. To the Casteel Family:
I remember meeting Cathy at Scout meetings. She was a lovely person. I was shocked to hear of her passing. Know that your family are in my nightly prayers, and I hope the peace of Christ that defies all understanding falls upon you and gives you the strength to persevere.
