Born on June 4, 1928 and Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Saturday, August 5, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Sam Catanzaro, Sr.; loving mother of Salvatore “Tory” (Margaret), George, Samuel, Jr. (Madonna) Catanzaro and Cecilia (Frank) Mancuso; adoring grandmother of Christopher (Jessica), Angie, Nicholas, Chelsea, Samuel III, Frankie, Philip, Lindsey and Robert; cherished great-grandmother of Annabelle, Abigail, Rylan, Zane, Trevor, Harper, Makayla and Robby. Our dearest relative and friend to many.

Mrs. Catanzaro was life member of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority, past President of Ladies of Oakland, Affton Historical Society (2008-2009) and was an accomplished artist among her many other talents.

 Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Monday, August 14 at 8:30 a.m. to Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church for 9 a.m. Mass. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery. Memorials to American Diabetes Association appreciated. Visitation Sunday 4-9 p.m.

  1. It is with a heavy heart we bid farewell to a beautiful lady who was a loving Friend who treated us like we were Family. The World needs more people like our dear “Momma C.” She was a loving, caring , talented lady who always had a smile and a hug for us. We will miss her greatly.
