Predeceased by sisters Yvonne (Chamberlain) Young and Carolana (Chamberlain) Burns, and niece, Leslie (Burns) Grondin.
Living each day with the spirit of aloha, he enjoyed life, good food, travel, his faith and especially, his ‘ohana. Like a true Pacific Islander, you were part of his ‘ohana whether through friendship or blood. He was a wonderful and involved father and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. We will all miss him dearly!
Requiem mass to be celebrated at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church on Saturday April 25, 10am, preceded by rosary at 9:30. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery following the mass.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest eternally in peace. Amen.
What a beautiful life well lived. Sonny’s spirit of aloha and his deep love for his ‘ohana shine through every word of this tribute. Sending our deepest condolences to Sherrie, Noelani, Kaliko, and the entire family during this time. May he rest in eternal peace. 🌺
