In Loving Memory

Chambers, Arthur Jackson

Arthur Jackson Chambers, born on June 20, 1924, went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2021 at the age of 97. His last memory of this life was of his family singing praises at his bedside.

Beloved and faithful husband for 45 years to the beautiful Evadeane (nee Holt) Chambers; father of Al Chambers, Dennis (Barbara) Chambers, and Diane (Ben) Westrup. Also, survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

We want to thank him for serving his country in World War II as a medic in Europe and the South Pacific Islands. Services: Visitation Monday, August 16, 2021 at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, 4:00-8:00 PM. Celebration of his life and home going service will be held at Apostolic Pentecostal Church (APC), 901 Barracksview Road, August 17, 2021 with visitation from 9:00 AM until service at 10:00 AM. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pentecostals of Apopka building fund.

  1. So sorry for your loss. Bro. Art was a faithful servant in POA church. Was there all the time before the COVID but always with a sweet smile. He has won his race and in Heaven with the Lord & all of the families & POA Family who have gone on before us. Just meet us at the gate Bro Art and cheer us on Home as we celebrate you to the Everlasting Eternal Home with no cane & no pain. See you at the GOD’s Big Mansion some sweet day.
