Chandler, Mina

Mina Chandler of St. Louis, MO was called home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday , March 12, 2024 at the age of 86.  Mina was born August 6, 1937 in Holcomb, Missouri to the late Fred Henry Green & Bertha Mae Green-Young. She was united in marriage to Earnest Eugene Chandler on July 15, 1961 in St .Louis, Missouri and attended the Church of the Nazarene for many years. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2023. 

She is survived by her two children; Philip (Lineth) Chandler and Gina (Kevin) Hempen; five grandchildren Brianne, Ashton and Charis Hempen and (Lineth’s daughter Ashley ), (Lineth’s son Joseph);  2 siblings, Mavis Berry and Kenneth (Sharon) Robinson, along with many nieces and nephews.

Mina worked as a banking associate for Mark Twain Bank in South St. Louis for many years until her retirement . In more recent years she attended Calvary Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church in Fenton, Missouri. She will be fondly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Service: Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road. Visitation on Thursday, March 21,2024, 11:30a.m.  Service begins at 12:30.   Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

  1. The Kneir Family is praying for your family. Mina was a beautiful lady inside and out. She loved the Lord. We have many good memories of family times with the Chandler Family.
