Charles, Donald W.

87, of Crestwood, MO and most recently Poplar Bluff, MO passed away February 6, 2018. He served in the Air Force  during the Korean War. He started his career and retired with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Don was the Treasurer of the Affton Elks 2635 and later a member of Poplar Bluff Elks 2452.

Wilma Vance is a beloved friend and Don is father to Kim  (Janice) Charles, Karla (Dennis) Sneathen, Lisa (John) Hamilton, and Michelle (Craig) Gilley. He is preceded in death by his wife, Melba, his son Robbin and grandson, Eric. He had 12 grand-children; Justin Kaighin, Amy Billmeyer, Jacob Charles, Kristen Nightengale, Nicolas Sneathen, Ryan Gilley, Nicole Charles, Julie Hamilton, Meghan Gilley, Eric Hamilton, Cole Barker, Christopher Charles, and great-grandchildren; Hailey Bowen, Matthew Bowen, Hunter Bowen, Summer Charles, Ashtyn Billmeyer, Beckam Billmeyer, Layla Sneathen, Emma Ventimiglia, Gage Nightengale, Duke Nightengale, Noah Osborn     .

Services:  Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151  Gravois Rd., 63123, Friday, February 9, 12:30 p.m. until  Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Interment Sunset Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Elks 2635 or Rebuilding  Together St. Louis.
