Chrisman, Donna Jo

On Thursday, October 4, 2018, Donna Jo Snider Chrisman, loving wife, mom, grandma, and friend passed away from a heart attack at age 75.

Donna was born on September 1, 1943 to the late Marion John and Maggie Lourine Snider. She went to school at Southeast Missouri State University for education and taught in a public school in Jefferson City and Poplar Bluff. After moving to St. Louis, she became a secretary at Concord Church which became her second home and her second family. She retired in 2014 and continued to volunteer at the church. On August 22, 1964, she married Jim Chrisman. They raised a son, Curt, and a daughter, Karen, and a granddaughter, Kali.

Donna was a strong woman who wore many hats, and wore them all well. She was a friend to everyone she came in contact with. She was strong willed and a very giving woman. Donna loved to garden, read , and craft. Donna will be remembered for her giving heart, infectious smile, and positive personality. Donna is survived by her husband, Jim, her two children, Curt and Karen, her granddaughter, Kali, and many friends.

Visitation at KUTIS FUNERAL HOME SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, Sunday October 7, 4-7 P.M. then taken to Concord Church on Tesson Ferry on Monday October 8 at 9:00 A.M. until service at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, Lemay Ferry. Kutis funeral home is in charge of the arrangements and Pastor Dave Martin officiating.
