Cobler, Robert C., passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 101.
He was a WWII Navy Veteran, serving on the Salt Lake City heavy cruiser in the Pacific. He was a sales manager for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and later sold insurance and investments with his brother in Philadelphia. He is survived by his wife Lela Cobler, children Craig Cobler, Sandy Overkamp, David Lichtenstein, Davida Grindstaff and Matt Lichtenstein. He is also survived by grandchildren Clayton, Carrie, Kyle and great-grandchildren Cadence and Caleb.
Service: Procession from Kutis South Count Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Wednesday, August 19, 10:00 am to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for 10:30am roadside service.
