Baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Saturday, April 4th, 2026.
Beloved wife of Albert “Al” Conway III; loving mother of Jim (Cara) Conway, Jennifer (Mike) Barry, and Tom (Kirsti Schaffer) Conway; adoring grandmother of Jack Conway, Mason Barry and Parker Barry; cherished daughter of the late William and Ruth Villier (nee Smith); a dear cousin and friend to many.
Pat and Al were married for almost 60 years, after meeting in high school as sophomores and dating for 8 years. They spent three years in the army traveling the country. She enjoyed some of the experiences more than others. Al was amazed that she slept through the visit to the Grand Canyon. She was much fonder of their time spent in Norfolk, Virginia Beach and San Francisco.
Pat was a teacher and truly found joy with her high school students during her eight-year career. She was supportive of her students and they were supportive of her. Once, she decided to take piano lessons in an attempt to play like Liberace, several students volunteer to try to help her learn. After leaving teaching to start a family, Pat was known for signing up for every position possible at the school and was famous for her chocolate chip cookies.
Pat loved many things. She loved reading and watching horror stories. She loved animals. She loved the beach. She loved walking in the sand, watching the pelicans dip into the ocean for food and gulls gliding in the wind. She loved shell hunting with her daughter and watching the sunset with everyone. Above all, Pat loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the ASPCA are greatly appreciated.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Thursday, April 9th, 10:30 AM, until funeral service begins at 12:00 PM. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Patsy will forever be remembered for the love she radiated to everyone. She was such a joyous, positive person to be around! I was always proud to call her family! She will hold a special place in my heart. I know that heaven is rejoicing as she is welcomed home. 💚☘️ Love always, Debbie
I didn’t get a chance to have a beat Patsy but knowing her daughter and her grandchildren and her son-in-law that she was an amazing woman and brought into this world an amazing daughter. In any beautiful person as she was that supports the SPCA for our fur babies is most definitely an angel of God. God bless her and God rest her soul because she is home now. 🙏✝️🩷
Being a classmate and friend with her son Jim, meet Patricia a handful of times. Each time it was a pleasure to speak with her and to see the joy in her eyes when talking about her son as a friend and discussing his culinary skills with her. Her bubbly personality and sweet disposition made a lasting impression on me as I’m sure with anyone who had ever met her. May she soar with the angels and bask in the glow our fathers eternal love.
