My condolences and prayers are with Deborah, Carolyn, and family on this saddest of days. Steve was, is, and will always be one of my very best friends and confidants. He was always there for me when I reached out. He will once again be reunited in the Kingdom of Heaven with his brother, past family members, pets, and friends and I have no doubt he will be waiting to greet each one of us when it’s our turn to cross over. He will have a smile on his face and a joke or two to tell. I will miss you buddy. Your Friend Charlie D.

Sympathy to the Cook family. You are in my thoughts.
Peace be with the family and friends of Steve Cook. As his peer at American Family, Steve was that person who always treated others well. He has some pretty amazing jokes too. You’ll be missed, never forgotten.
Steve cook was a great man in one of a kind.
I’m sure he had no enemies on the Earth. He always met everybody with a smile. I can remember so many fun times I had with him. He will be greatly missed by me. And everybody that ever had the pleasure of meeting him. My sympathy goes out to all of his family. Goodbye, dear friend, but heaven got another angel Va l Collins
Hanging out with Steve to me was like Seinfeld a show about nothing but within minutes we were laughing about something.. We always had lots of laughs whenever we got together over the past 44 years. You may not be in your humanly form anymore but you’ll never be gone from my mind.Love you buddy. To Deb Steve’s Mom and the family may the Lord be with you.
Steve was a wonderful person. He always was glad to see you and would have a smile on his face. When Steve and I would see each other we would go back-and-forth telling jokes. He had the best, and they were clean. Some of my best material I got from Steve. What a great guy. God bless his sweet family.
I could not have had a better best friend growing up. So many nights at his house playing guitar, listening to him sing Proud Mary with all of our friends from Mehlville high school. I am truly sadden by his passing. We were all better with Steve in our lives. Rest well my friend.
Steve, I just saw this through the Creve Coeur/Olivette Chamber email. My heart is aching! It wasn’t that long ago when we had dinner and talked about so many Chamber things. You’re always so fun to hang out with and to share a drink with..
I’ll never forget all the times working with you as an ambassador for the chamber. I remember when I announced you at the Chamber meeting I used to sing the words… American Family Insurance…. And everyone always laughed.
I will miss you so very very much.
Sending thoughts and prayers to the Cook family. Steve was an awesome family man and friend. He will never be forgotten. I’m so thankful to have known him, and grateful for all the laughs. You will be missed Mr. Cook!
Steve will be missed by all. I always had a fun time with him whenever we got together.
