Passed away on Sunday, May 17th, 2026.
Beloved husband of the late Susan L. Cooper (nee Hayes); devoted father of Vickie (Mike) Branch and Dave Cooper Jr.; adoring grandfather of Mandy and Marissa Branch, Jessica (Chris) Rowberry, and Brittany and Matthew Cooper; adoring great grandfather of Mason and Miles Rowberry; dearest son of the late David and Dorothy Cooper; loving brother of the late Dorothy “Dottie” Neel; our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
He enjoyed being a pilot and flying his family around, boating at the Lake of the Ozarks and coaching hockey for Webster Groves, Lindbergh, and being the General Manager of St. Louis Blues.
In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the St. Louis Youth Hockey Association are greatly appreciated.
SERVICES: Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Saturday, May 23rd at 10:30 AM. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
