Gregory Wayne Coplin, December 3, 1960 – June 17, 2024. Gregory Wayne Coplin, age 64 of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on June 17, 2024. Gregory was born on December 3, 1960 to Donald and Loretta (Johnson) Coplin. Gregory had no wife and kids but survived by his father Donald and brother Michael Coplin, with abundance of cousins, many friends and loved ones.
Gregory Wayne Coplin had eight years of service in the United States Air Forces from 1980 – 1988 with a full honorable discharge. His line of work was in the medical field, holds honors/awards, Certificate of Completion (Medical Service Specialist Training, Shepard AFB 1980, Non Commissioned Officer Course 1983, Veteran Administration Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo. Certificate of Training, GA 4 Medical/Surgical Challenge Test 1993) Gregory’s
education having Associates Degree in Applied Science/Nursing (1996 St. Louis Community College at Forest Park) and much more. He received his Missouri Registered Nurse License in 1991. Gegory worked at more than seven major medical centers and had a side hobby of selling guns (Greg’s Guns) were his brother Michael Coplin (Certified Machinist) was helping his brother doing gunsmithing work for his side hobby business. Years before Gregory’s, death he was wheel chair bound from complications from a diabetic stroke and liked to spend his time as a avid tea drinker and movie watcher. Gregory was a very easy going person with a very kind heart. 

Services:   A visitation for Gregory Wayne Coplin will be held Friday June 28, from 9:00AM to 11:30AM at Kutis Funeral Home (South County Chapel) 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, Mo. 63129. Funeral services (all same day) 11:30AM then a committal service will occur at 12:30PM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Mo. 63125.

  1. I am so very sorry to hear about Gregory today. He was a wonderful cousin, I am so sorry I missed his wake/funeral. He was dearly loved by us all. Uncle Don and Michael you are in my prayers.
