(nee Hester) Friday, July 9, 2021 and Sunday, July 11, 2021. Beloved parents of Ken Cox, Jennifer Gebhart, Julie (Newton) Henson and Karen (Mark) Van

Compernolle; dear grandparents of Jill (Mike), Tom (Brandi), Trisha (Matt), Samantha (Ashley), Eric and Mia; dear great-grandparents of Jolene, Parker, McKinleigh, Heidi and Keaton.

Bob was a Marine Corps veteran and served in Korea; he was a member of The Marine Corps League Detachments #183 and #707, and a 62-year member of Machinists Union Local #777.

Judy was a lifetime member of The Greater St. Louis Area Mothers of Twins Club and a member of Sacred Heart Quilters Club. She was a retiree of Uni Group Inc.

Services: Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, July 20, 11 a.m. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Cedarhurst of Arnold or Seasons Hospice appreciated. Visitation Monday, July 19, 4-8 p.m.

  13. We lived next door to Bob & Judy for over 26 years, they were the best neighbors you could have, my kids learned how to swim in their pool and were treated like grand children. We both grew gardens and had many lengthy conversations leaning on the fence fixing all the world’s problems.
    We loved them and will miss them and will think of them as a part of our own family for ever. God Bless!
