In Loving Memory

Craig, Glenda L.

Craig, Glenda L. (nee: Lungstrum) on Tuesday, September 2021. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Craig; dearest mother of Jackie Craig and Janet (Charles) Mize; loving Maw Maw of Kyle and Tyler Mize; great grandmother of Raelynn Mize; dear sister of Janet (the late Spencer) Lindsey; our dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Glenda was a 50+ year member of St. Luke’s UCC. Over the years she dedicated her time to many organizations there, including being a Sunday School teacher, Couples Club and still active in Evening Circle. Everyone knew her for her beaming smile which led to her cheeky nickname “crabby”. She was also most definitely an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Services: Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Saturday, September 25 at 10 a.m. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery. No Flowers Please – Memorials to St. Luke’s UCC (Imperial) appreciated. Visitation Friday 4 – 8 p.m. Cardinals attire encouraged.

  5. I am so sorry. She was always there, always supportive with a smile and a word. I’ve missed her since I left St Luke’s. My spirit will be with you on the 25th even as my body is on vacation out of town. Peace Glenda, your light lives on.

  13. Jackie and Janet, I was so saddened by the passing on of your dear mother. I’m sitting here thinking of the memories I shared with your mom and dad and also the two of you. You two were some of my favorite kids I babysat. I am hoping to be able to work things out to make it to the funeral and see you girls again. I love you all.

  15. I will forever treasure the great memories shared with this sweet spunky lady. She made me feel welcome as she shared her memories around St Louis in March of this year.

  17. Deepest sadness for the loss of Glenda. She was a wonderful lady and I enjoyed our weekly phone conversations even if brief to update me on church news. She always had a smile on her face and in her voice. Prayers to her family during this time. She will be greatly missed.
