Curtner, Alma L. (nee Ellerman)

February 3, 1938 - November 30, 2024

Beloved wife of Thomas L. Curtner and the late Herman H. Beck.  Dear mother of Ann (Dave) Heth, Curt (Diane) Beck, David Beck, Doug Beck and the late Stan Beck.  Dear stepmother of Louis (Pat) Coleman, Janie DeWitt, Donna (Mike) Thoams, Sherry (Eric) Johnson, Cheryl (Ronald) Vance, Jimmy (Mary) Coleman and Melissa Doss.  Dear sister of Hazel Harper, Dan (Pat) Ellerman and Noah (Roberta) Ellerman.  Our dear grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Mrs. Curtner was an active member of Faith Community Church and loved to play the guitar and sing.  She also enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music.

SERVICES:  Visitation at Faith Community Church (4824 Scottsdale Road House Springs, Missouri 63051) on Thursday, December 5, 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m.  Visitation will also be held at the McSpadden Funeral Home (610 Main Street Ellington, Missouri 63638) on Friday, December 6, 10:00 a.m. until funeral service at 12:00 noon.  Interment Pumpkin Hollow Memorial Cemetery (Ellington, Missouri).  Contributions to Missions Outreach of Faith Community Church appreciated.

  1. I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Alma’s passing. She will truly be missed. I will always remember her and Uncle Herman singing Rocky Top at the family reunion when we were kids as Uncle Herman played the banjo.

  3. Alma worked in my department at Joyce Meyer Ministries. She was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. Deepest sympathy to the family as you say “so long” to Alma. Until we all gather together again in heaven. Love to all of you.
