Cutak

In Loving Memory

Cutak, Ronald J.

May 14, 1943 - June 13, 2025

Ronald J. Cutak, cherished husband to Kathleen Cutak (nee Paradowski), beloved father to the late Paul Bryan Cutak and Benjamin J (Jessica Ann) Cutak, beloved grandfather to Autumn Josephine Cutak, Ira James Cutak, and Andrew Gus Cutak, died peacefully June 13, 2025.

Love and compassion surrounded him, because that is what he gave to the world. With kindness he put others first. He opened his heart and his home to family and friends across the globe, anyone who may have been passing through Saint Louis. He taught respect by giving respect first. He was always a protector, to a lovable, funny fault. He never met a baby that he couldn’t hold and talk to endlessly. There was never enough time nor toys to play and engage with children. He enjoyed movies, sports, current events, politics, card games, good food & drink, beautiful landscaping, and laughing hysterically. Although he had his view of the world, he would listen to and appreciate yours, because it was yours. His mind was always open to change, even if change was hard.

For 57 years he was a loving husband and partner in life’s ups and downs. He was an amazing father and role model. He was a proud and loving grandfather. And to many others he was a son, brother, brother in-law, cousin, [favorite] uncle, and friend. Ron will live on in our hearts and memories.

There will be no services. We ask that those wishing to express condolences donate to either The Paul Bryan Cutak 1990 Literary Scholarship, the Alzheimer’s Association, or the charity of your choice.

  2. Dear Kathy and Ben and Jessica, we have lost a wonderful person who was loved by many. Ron was a family guy all his life. We remember when he stayed with us in Fortville, Indiana in 1962 when we were waiting for Richie’s birth. He wanted to be there when his first nephew was born.. He helped in every and any way he could. We send you our love and prayers during this very difficult time. We miss him too. Dick and Carol
