Dachsteiner, Walter Neil “Doc”

 80, passed away Tuesday, June 19 surrounded by  family.  Beloved husband to the late Marilyn  Dachsteiner (nee Blecha) survived by Michael, Michelle, Tony, Christy, Dominic, Stacey and Tracey; loving grandfather and great-grandfather; brother to Inez Dachsteiner Wright of California. An ironworker for over 40 years with local 396. He also served in the U.S.M.C. from 1956-1961. He was a wonderful role model, friend and teacher and will be missed by all who knew him.   Memorials to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.

Services: Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Monday, June 25 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation Sunday, 3-7 p.m.
